NXIAVA2

Description

The first IC to contain the i2Dclass technology- samples and volume quantities available now.

Features:

  • QFN32 (0.4mm pitch) 48MHz 3v3 IO compatible
  • I2S 2 channels up to 192KHz, 32bit
  • SPDIF/AES3 up to 96kSps
  • Auto switching from SPDIF to I2S (SPDIF when no I2S detected)
  • Rotary encoder volume control, can default to either -30dB or full volume at power up
  • 2 channels- 24bit 24mA complementary output capable of driving either analogue or digital output stages directly.
  • OCP built in option- works with any bridge.
  • 2us DAC group delay, 25us total (including 96ksps serial input and 50kHz 2 pole LPF).
  • >113dB SNR, <0.004% THD (linear filter), <0.005% THD (D-class output, 8ohm, 54V).
  • Output carrier <520kHz (below AM band)
  • <20mW power consumption.
  • Full differential frequency spreading for reduced EMI.

Description

A minimalist devkit that can drive 2x80Wrms into 4Ω at 25V without a heatsink.

  • Volume control- half bit steps via rotary encoder
  • Dual MP8049S output stages run in parallel mode for 11A peak.

Ultra power GaN based performance module using the NXIAVA2 internal OCP logic, all silicon is rated to 90V continuous operation (500Wrms into 8Ω potential).

  • I2S internal header (BCLK, FCLK, SDATA, GND)
  • Volume control- half bit steps via rotary encoder inputs (dial not included)
  • Discrete 90V 6mΩ EPC2204 GaN FETs
  • OCP limit set at >24A.
